Senior Business Analyst (Majesco)

SGF Global is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst Contractor to join our team for a high-impact project for an insurance technology practice. In this role, you will contribute to bridging business needs and technical delivery on core insurance platform initiatives, providing analytical expertise and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives.

STRICT COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS (Non-Negotiable):

• Work Authorization: Strictly open to US Citizens ONLY (Born or Naturalized).
• Location: 100% Onsite in Madison, Wisconsin. Candidates must already reside in the area or be willing to relocate.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst working specifically with the Majesco Platform.

Core Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Majesco PAS and Billing modules.
• Support policy lifecycle processes (new business, endorsements, renewals, cancellations) and billing operations (invoicing, payments, commissions, disbursements).
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams throughout the SDLC using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Support data mapping, system integrations, and migration efforts.
• Conduct gap analysis, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with defect triage.
• Act as the core liaison between business stakeholders and Deloitte's IT delivery teams.

Requirements & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Majesco PAS and Majesco Billing (configuration and/or implementation).
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes: underwriting, policy administration, and billing workflows.
• Proficiency in requirements documentation (BRD/FRD), user stories, and process modeling.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Majesco platform certification.
• Experience with system integrations (APIs, web services).
• Knowledge of reinsurance, claims, or downstream reporting.
