Senior Associate Attorney

Location: Overland Park, KS (435 & Roe)

Compensation: $125,000 – $165,000 (Commensurate with experience)

Work Environment: In-Office, Full-Time

Felzien, Walker, Mauer Law, P.A. (“FWM Law”) is a premier litigation and general services civil practice seeking a seasoned Senior Associate Attorney to join our team. At FWM Law, we offer a sophisticated practice environment without the rigid constraints of traditional billable mandates. We prioritize results and client service over strict quotas.

As a Senior Associate, you will take a lead role in managing a diverse caseload for our municipal, corporate, and litigation clients. This is an opportunity for a litigator who enjoys direct client interaction and the responsibility of seeing a case through from inception to resolution.

Core Practice Areas:

• Commercial Litigation & Product Liability Defense
• Eminent Domain
• Municipal Litigation
• General Counsel Services for Corporate Clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead your own independent caseload.
• Represent clients in court appearances, city meetings, and strategic client consultations.
• Provide expert general counsel and litigation support to a stable, long-term client base.

We are looking for a disciplined, high-caliber advocate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation or municipal law.

• Licensure: Must be barred and in good standing in both Kansas and Missouri.
• Experience: Proven track record of managing cases and appearing in court.
• Skills: Exceptional legal writing, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in an in-office setting.
