About the Role

The Senior Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) is responsible for the day-to-day execution and integrity of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, while supporting broader accounting operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely cash flow management, and supporting close processes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable
• Review, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Manage payment cycles (ACH, wire, check)
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Post and apply incoming payments accurately
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on balances

• Accounting & Operational Support
• Record financial transactions per company policy
• Assist with reconciliations and close processes

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems

Required Skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Bill.com

Preferred Skills

• Work Environment: Office-based role with standard business hours
