Position Overview
This role sits within a corporate accounting team supporting multiple distribution centers and will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. You’ll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive insights and ensure accuracy across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries and support general ledger activity across multiple locations
- Analyze financial results, including P&L trends, variances, and key drivers of performance
- Assist with month-end close and preparation of financial statements (BS, IS, supporting schedules)
- Partner with operations to understand financial impacts across distribution centers
- Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Review, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial data
- Support inventory accounting and related controls
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3–5 years of experience (public accounting or industry)
- CPA or actively pursuing
- Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
- Detail-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively across teams
- Experience with inventory, fixed assets, or lease accounting is a plus
- Exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred) is a plus
