As a Senior Account Executive, you’ll serve as the strategic advisor and primary relationship manager for a portfolio of key clients. You’ll guide them through the complexities of employee benefits, anticipate their evolving needs, and deliver solutions that support their employees and organizational goals. Your work directly supports organizations that serve millions of Californians. You’ll help clients make informed decisions that impact employee well‑being, financial stability, and long‑term organizational health.

Lead the retention and growth of client accounts within your territory.
Build and strengthen long‑term client relationships through proactive communication and consultative guidance.
Analyze existing benefit programs and recommend enhancements, new products, or strategic adjustments.
Manage and negotiate carrier renewals, ensuring clients receive competitive and compliant programs.
Stay current on regulatory and legislative changes and help clients understand their implications.
Deliver compelling presentations to clients, committees, and employee groups.
Partner closely with internal teams—including P&C, service, and marketing—to ensure seamless execution and exceptional service.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to claims, billing, eligibility, and carrier interactions.
Support the development and review of plan documents, SPDs, amendments, and master contracts.
Oversee open enrollment activities, health fairs, and employee education sessions.
Maintain accurate account information in Salesforce and prepare reports as needed.
Mentor and support service team members as part of a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
Required: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
