Position Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and relationship-focused Senior Account Executive to lead and grow our most important customer accounts. This role is responsible for managing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, overseeing account execution, and serving as the primary point of contact for key clients.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales instincts with exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills. They should be comfortable leading meetings, managing complex timelines, collaborating cross-functionally with design and production teams, and identifying opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
This role is critical to maintaining long-term client relationships while helping scale the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Client Relationships
- Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned key accounts
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with buyers and decision-makers
- Lead client meetings, presentations, seasonal reviews, and strategic discussions
- Maintain consistent communication with accounts regarding timelines, product development, pricing, and delivery updates
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales growth within existing accounts through upselling and expansion opportunities
- Identify new business opportunities within strategic retail and wholesale partners
- Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with company goals
- Monitor sales performance and proactively address opportunities or risks
- Support forecasting and seasonal sales planning
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner closely with design, production, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and programs
- Help manage development calendars, approvals, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate internally to resolve issues related to production, shipping, inventory, or customer needs
- Advocate for client priorities while balancing company objectives and operational realities
Leadership & Strategic Contribution
- Help establish processes and standards for account management as the company scales
- Mentor junior sales or account management team members when applicable
- Provide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive analysis to leadership
- Contribute to overall sales strategy and brand growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development in fashion apparel
- Experience working with retail, wholesale, or private label accounts
- Familiarity with apparel production calendars and development timelines
- Understanding of merchandising, costing, and product lifecycle processes
- Existing relationships within the fashion or activewear industry are a plus
- Experience managing large or strategic accounts preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Experience working cross-functionally with product/design/operations teams preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and order management tools
