As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and perform routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. You will stay highly visible, communicate clearly with drivers, associates, and visitors, and document observations with attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, issuing temporary credentials, and maintaining access logs in accordance with post orders.
• Screen inbound and outbound traffic at gates and/or entry points, monitor delivery schedules and driver check-in processes, and report irregularities according to site guidelines.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building areas, loading docks, yard space, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
