Position Title: Security Manager / Information Security Manager

Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)

Duration: Long term contract

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and support enterprise-wide information security initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing security standards, ensuring compliance with security policies, managing security architecture, conducting risk assessments, and supporting the implementation of security controls across IT projects. This role requires strong expertise in governance, risk management, compliance, security operations, and enterprise security best practices.



Key Responsibilities

:Security Governance & Complianc

  • eManage the development and delivery of enterprise IT security standards, policies, procedures, and best practices
  • .Ensure information system security across the organization through effective security governance and oversight
  • .Implement processes and methodologies to audit compliance with security policies and standards
  • .Identify security gaps and facilitate remediation efforts to transition non-compliant environments into compliant environments
  • .Conduct internal and external security assessments, reviews, and compliance studies

.Security Architecture & Risk Managemen

  • tSupport the design and implementation of secure IT architectures and enterprise security solutions
  • .Evaluate security risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • .Ensure security controls align with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • .Participate in security planning and implementation activities for all IT projects

.Security Operation

  • sMonitor security initiatives and coordinate efforts to maintain a secure IT environment
  • .Assist in implementing improvements to work methods, procedures, and security processes
  • .Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen security controls and operational effectiveness
  • .Provide guidance on security best practices and emerging threats

.Documentation & Communicatio

  • nDevelop and maintain security documentation, standards, procedures, and reports
  • .Communicate security requirements and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • .Prepare compliance and security status reports for management
  • .Support security awareness and training initiatives as required
