What you'll do...
 

  • Manage security and operations for Ford Energy to include staffing requirements and scheduling, access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency support. 
  • Manage a team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Manage special projects and security initiatives as assigned.
  • Assist with project management oversight for physical security and fire systems, as required.
  • Develop monthly security awareness communications to be provided to employees.
  • Conduct risk assessments of Ford Energy to determine if the operational model is adequate for site integrity.
  • May perform the role of Incident Commander for security, medical, or behavioral emergencies.
  • Respond to behavioral situations and emergencies as needed and escalate appropriately to the Regional Security Manager.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during an escalated event.
  • Manage escalated issues with plant Support Team Management (STM), as needed.
  • Enhance emergency response capabilities by utilizing incident response tools and through the deployment of emergency response equipment for the company or local municipalities.  
  • Collaborate with People Matters, Labor Relations, and Safety representatives as necessary to resolve workplace issues.
  • Identify and escalate physical security gaps through proactive security initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal skill teams to ensure unified alignment with all security and fire related matters.
  • Collaborate with the regional security team as well as appropriate internal Ford skill teams and external work partners to plan for and provide security coverage for special events and VIP visits to Ford Energy.
  • Track and compile team metrics; using data to drive decision making and security strategy.
  • Act as a liaison with local, state, and federal agencies.
