Security Scheduling Coordinator

About the Role


As a Security Scheduling Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of our regional team in Pennsylvania. This hands-on role is focused on the daily execution of our scheduling plan. You’ll work closely with a small team of schedulers and report directly to the Master Scheduler, ensuring our schedules are optimized, efficient, compliant, and meeting client needs.


Key Responsibilities


Scheduling Coordination: Supports the regional scheduling team in the daily management of security guard schedules to ensure full coverage across all client sites.

Client Communications: Assist with handling day-to-day scheduling requests and issues from our diverse client base. Client communication is an essential part of this job.

Schools: Coordinate coverage for last-minute after-school events and adapt to seasonal changes, including breaks.

Synagogues: Help ensure specialized coverage is in place for High Holy Days and other religious events.

Commercial Clients: Responds to last-minute shift changes and sudden callouts, particularly on weekends and after major events and/or paydays.

Performance Reporting: Assist in tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open shifts, non-billable overtime, and schedule fill rates.

Problem Solving: Help resolve immediate staffing challenges, such as unexpected callouts or no-shows, to ensure all sites remain secure.


Qualifications


Experience: 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, dispatch, or a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, dynamic environment

Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the physical security or related service industry is a significant asset.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with scheduling software is required. Experience with one of more of the following platforms is highly preferred:

  • Celayix
  • TrackTik
  • GuardsPro
  • Deputy
  • WorkWave
  • Snap Schedule 365
