Role: SAP Data Migration Consultant
Location: Indianapolis, IN (onsite from day 1)
Duration: 12 + Months Contract
Program Context: Global S/4HANA Transformation (SAP S/4HANA, MDG, Ariba, Salesforce)
Job Description:
The Data Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, readiness, and successful migration of local business data into the global SAP S/4HANA landscape, enabling compliant, timely, and disruption?€'free deployment of standardized global processes in the United States.
Work Experience
- 10–12+ years of experience in SAP Data Management, data migration, or ERP transformations.
- Proven hands?€'on experience with SAP S/4HANA data migrations, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong exposure to SAP MDG and at least one major satellite system (e.g., Ariba, Salesforce, IBP).
- Experience working in large, global programs with geographically phased (“wave”) deployments.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with senior business and IT leaders.
- Prior experience working in or with US business units strongly preferred.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous, such as:
- SAP S/4HANA or SAP MDG certifications
- Data management or data governance certifications
- Project or program management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
