Overview
This role sits at the intersection of business operations and technology, helping individual business units optimize processes, strengthen ERP usage, and unlock new revenue opportunities. You’ll partner closely with General Managers, functional leaders, and the IT team to understand how the business operates today, identify improvement opportunities, and configure ERP solutions (primarily SAP Business One) to support scalable, efficient growth.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, building trust with stakeholders at all levels, and driving meaningful change in a growing, acquisition‑oriented organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with General Managers and business leaders to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Analyze current business processes and map how they connect to the ERP system, recommending enhancements that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Configure and optimize SAP Business One to support evolving business needs, working closely with the IT team.
- Lead or support business improvement initiatives across multiple locations, including Tampa and Michigan.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business units, helping them leverage ERP capabilities to expand product offerings and streamline operations.
- Support change management efforts by communicating impacts, training users, and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes.
- Manage small to mid‑sized projects, ensuring clear requirements, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
- Contribute to integration efforts related to acquisitions, ensuring new businesses can effectively adopt core systems and processes.
- Maintain a customer‑service mindset, providing responsive, thoughtful support to users at all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Business One (strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in business process design and optimization.
- Project management experience, including coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
- Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
- A customer‑service mindset with strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute for degree.
