We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sample Prep Specialist to join our laboratory team in Thompson’s Station. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to build a career in a professional laboratory environment.

Role Overview

• Duration: 6-month contract (with the possibility of extension based on performance).
• Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 40 hours per week.
• Location: 100% onsite in Thompson’s Station.
• Environment: Professional laboratory setting.
• Pay Rate: $20.63/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive laboratory support, including the cleaning, sterilization, and organized storage of equipment.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and laboratory safety protocols.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the team has necessary supplies at all times.
• Perform accurate data entry to document laboratory processes and results.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a BS in a technical science or engineering field is preferred.
• Experience: 0–2+ years; this is an entry-level role, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40lbs consistently.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and strong data entry skills.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Background

• Knowledge of basic chemistry or food safety.
• Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
