Salesforce Solution Delivery Lead (Contract-to-Hire)

Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with a leading utility organization undergoing a large-scale customer technology transformation initiative focused on Salesforce and customer engagement platforms.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee third-party development teams delivering Salesforce solutions for a Customer Contact Management (CCM) workstream, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360, and associated Salesforce products.
• Lead the design, configuration, customization, integration, and deployment of Salesforce applications in partnership with internal and external teams.
• Guide testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing while ensuring documentation is maintained in Jira, qTest, and related tools.
• Coordinate vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery, successful integrations, and alignment across workstreams.
• Support deployment, cutover, hyper-care activities, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and operational readiness efforts.
• Ensure Salesforce security roles, access models, compliance requirements, and DevSecOps best practices are properly designed, implemented, tested, and maintained.
• Drive automated CI/CD pipelines, code quality initiatives, security analysis, monitoring, and performance management for Salesforce solutions.
• Participate in program governance, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, change management, training, and adoption initiatives.
What Experience You'll Have:
• Currently authorized to work in the United States via U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.
• Minimum 7 years of experience delivering Salesforce solutions, including design, configuration, development, integrations, and enterprise implementations.
• Strong expertise with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud/Data 360, Lightning Platform, Apex Development, and related Salesforce technologies.
• Experience with MuleSoft, REST APIs, middleware platforms, Salesforce security models, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with experience coordinating across multiple teams and vendors.
What Experience is Nice to Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Salesforce certifications such as Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I/II, Sales Cloud Consultant, Technical Architect, or similar credentials.
• Experience within the utility or energy industry, including enterprise digital transformation programs, SAP integrations, Salesforce Einstein, customer data privacy, data migration, and change management initiatives.
