Salesforce Engineer

Our client, a leader in financial & tax, is hiring an IT Engineer to join their team in Columbus, OH!

**This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits (contract-to-hire)**

As the IT Engineer, you will lead the delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting Customer Contact Management (CCM) transformation initiative. You will oversee third-party development teams, drive Salesforce integrations, ensure security and compliance standards are met, and support testing, deployment, and operational readiness across multiple Salesforce platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end Salesforce solution delivery across internal and third-party teams.
• Guide Salesforce design, configuration, integrations, and development efforts.
• Support testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Ensure Salesforce security, compliance, and DevSecOps best practices are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution.
• Support program governance, issue resolution, monitoring, and user adoption initiatives.

Desired Skills:

• 7+ years of Salesforce implementation and delivery experience.
• Expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, Lightning Platform, and Apex.
• Experience with MuleSoft, REST APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security models, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience working in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments.
• Strong communication skills and experience with Agile tools such as Jira and qTest.
• Salesforce certifications and utility industry experience are highly preferred.
