Salesforce Director - Edison, NJ
An enterprise consulting organization is seeking a Director of Salesforce to lead strategic growth and client transformation initiatives within the Financial Services sector. This leadership role focuses on driving Salesforce-led consulting engagements, building strong executive relationships, and delivering innovative CRM solutions that help clients modernize their customer experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep Salesforce expertise, financial services industry knowledge, and strong consulting leadership experience to shape large-scale transformation programs and expand Salesforce practice capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Salesforce consulting engagements and transformation initiatives for enterprise clients within the financial services industry
• Drive solution-led sales efforts, identifying opportunities and shaping Salesforce-based solutions to address complex business challenges
• Manage and grow a sales pipeline and deal portfolio for Salesforce-related engagements
• Build strong C-suite and executive stakeholder relationships, positioning Salesforce solutions as a driver of business transformation
• Collaborate with global delivery, consulting, and sales teams to successfully pursue and close new opportunities
• Lead responses to client proposals (RFPs/RFIs) and contribute to strategic solution development
• Leverage Salesforce platform capabilities to design innovative CRM solutions across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Financial Services Cloud
• Partner with ecosystem stakeholders to drive joint go-to-market initiatives and client engagements
• Provide leadership across large-scale Salesforce transformation programs within banking and financial services organizations
• Mentor teams and contribute to the growth of the Salesforce consulting practice
Qualifications
• 15+ years of overall experience in technology consulting, enterprise systems, or digital transformation
• 5+ years of experience delivering Salesforce CRM implementations
• Strong understanding of customer engagement journeys across Sales, Service, and Marketing functions
• Proven experience in consulting and advisory roles, helping clients solve complex business problems
• Experience leading or contributing to large-scale Salesforce transformation programs
• Industry experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance is highly preferred
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and global stakeholders across sales, consulting, and delivery functions
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud preferred.
