Baakintegra
Houston, TX

Location: Houston / The Woodlands, TX (Field-Based) Employment Type: Full-time (W2) Seniority Level: Associate / Mid-Senior level

About the Opportunity

Are you a driven medical device professional looking to get in on the ground floor of an exciting international expansion?

Baak Integra USA, the newly established US division of a multinational leader in orthopedic and trauma solutions, is building its foundational commercial team in Texas. We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Sales Specialist to drive market penetration and provide elite clinical support for our proprietary trauma and spine implants across the Greater Houston area.

This is a rare opportunity to move away from the bureaucracy of mega-corporations and play a pivotal role in building a commercial territory from scratch, backed by an established, profitable global manufacturer.

The Role

Reporting directly to the US Regional Sales Director, you will be the clinical and commercial face of Baak Integra in the operating room. You will blend technical expertise with B2B sales acumen, ensuring surgeons and perioperative staff have the training, inventory, and support they need to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clinical Excellence in the OR: Attend surgical procedures to provide expert technical guidance to surgeons and OR staff on instrumentation, implant sizing, and surgical techniques for Baak Integra’s orthopedic portfolio.

  • Territory Management & Growth: Execute the territory business plan to meet and exceed monthly sales targets. Prospect, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with orthopedic surgeons, hospital administration, and procurement teams.

  • Case Management & Logistics: Coordinate surgical case coverage meticulously. Ensure all necessary instrumentation trays and implants are on-site, compliant, and sterile prior to scheduled surgeries.

  • Customer Education: Conduct hands-on "In-Service" training sessions for hospital staff regarding new product features, safety protocols, and surgical workflows.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics, providing actionable feedback to the executive leadership team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Degrees in Life Sciences, Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or Business are highly preferred).

  • Experience: 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the Medical Device sector (Orthopedics, Spine, Trauma, or Sports Medicine).

  • Clinical Comfort: Documented experience working inside sterile Operating Room (OR) environments.

  • Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. High sense of urgency and attention to detail.

  • Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel daily within the assigned regional territory.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
