A fashion-textile company is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional to join their growing team. If you have a genuine passion for textiles and fashion, prior extensive experience is not strictly required, as we are highly willing to train the right individual. The final job title and level of autonomy for this role will be determined based on the selected candidate's depth of experience.



About the Role

This dual-scope position is designed to drive business growth, manage vital client relationships, and ensure seamless operational support for the client's core product lines. For candidates tracking at the Assistant level, the focus will lean heavily toward order processing, sales support, and active client communication. For candidates qualifying at the Representative level, emphasis will shift toward independent territory growth, strategic market analysis, and high-level account management.



Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Communication Management

  • Account Management: Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients. Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and orders.
  • Tailored Solutions: Actively listen to and understand unique client needs, providing tailored solutions and effectively communicating product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Coordinate closely with clients to ensure an exceptional service experience, promptly addressing concerns and resolving order-related issues.


Sales, Business Development & Support

  • Revenue Growth: (Representative level) Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territories or market segments to consistently achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Lead Generation & Support: (Assistant level) Conduct market research to identify potential clients, map out new business opportunities, and assist the senior team in preparing high-impact sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Product Promotion: Present, promote, and pitch company products enthusiastically to prospective clients and industry professionals.


Order Processing & Operational Excellence

  • Order Management: Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, tracking shipments and managing inventory availability to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with internal departments—including Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service—to ensure flawless order fulfillment.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of client interactions, pipeline opportunities, and sales activities within the CRM system. Assist in generating regular sales reports, trend analyses, and forecasts for management review.


Market Intelligence & Event Support

  • Market Analysis: Stay highly informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
  • Trade Shows & Events: Support the coordination of company participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Assist with booth setup, manage event logistics, and engage directly with potential clients to promote the brand.



Qualifications

Language Requirements:

  • English: Complete fluency is required. Must be fully proficient in verbal communication, reading, and written correspondence to interface effectively with corporate clients and internal teams.
  • Bilingual Skills (Big Plus): Proficiency or fluency in Japanese or Spanish is highly advantageous and a major plus for this role.


Experience & Background:

  • Industry Passion: A strong, genuine interest in textiles, apparel, and the fashion industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in sales, account management, or sales support/customer service is a plus, but enthusiastic entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn the industry are encouraged to apply. (Level of entry and independent responsibility will be dictated by depth of experience).
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is preferred.


Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace).
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently present products to diverse audiences.
  • Attributes: Highly organized, proactive problem-solver, and a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.



Pay range and compensation package

$23 - 26/hour DOE

Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 17:00 (OT may be required)
