Sales Assistant Licensing & Brand Management


We're looking for a highly organized, proactive Sales Assistant to support the sales, licensing, and brand management teams across wholesale, ecom, and strategic partnership initiatives. This role will assist with day-to-day account coordination, sales operations, retailer communication, reporting, product launch tracking, and cross-functional support across multiple lifestyle and fashion brands.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to thrive in fast-paced environments, commercially minded, and passionate about fashion, licensing, branding, and consumer products. This individual should be comfortable working across multiple departments, including sales, marketing, creative, production, ecommerce, and operations.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Account Support


  • Support the brand team with ecommerce, distributor, and licensee communication
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, line sheets, pitch decks, and account recaps
  • Manage order tracking, distributor follow-ups, and account status updates
  • Coordinate sample requests, product shipments, and showroom organization
  • Maintain product calendars, launch timelines, and meeting schedules
  • Assist with onboarding new distributors and licensing partners


Licensing & Brand Coordination


  • Help track licensing agreements, approvals, and category launches
  • Coordinate product approvals and maintain approval trackers
  • Organize retailer and partner feedback across categories and regions
  • Support category expansion initiatives and new business opportunities
  • Assist in monitoring distribution channels and account compliance


Reporting & Operations


  • Compile weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Track sell-through performance, inventory updates, and retailer performance
  • Maintain internal databases, account lists, and sales trackers
  • Assist with royalty reporting coordination and sales forecasting support
  • Support trade show preparation, market appointments, and brand activations


Cross-Functional Collaboration


  • Work closely with licensing and creative teams on launch initiatives
  • Coordinate product information and assets for e-commerce and wholesale partners
  • Assist with influencer gifting, PR seeding, and event logistics
  • Help ensure consistency across brand positioning and retailer presentation


Qualifications


  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, wholesale, licensing, fashion, or consumer products
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and Shopify/ERP systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Interest in fashion, lifestyle, licensing, and brand strategy



Preferred Experience


  • Experience working with wholesale retailers, distributors, or licensing partners
  • Familiarity with sales reporting and inventory management
  • Knowledge of e-commerce marketplaces and retail channels
  • Exposure to fashion, accessories, footwear, beauty, or lifestyle categories
