Account Executive – Laboratory Services & Solutions

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to drive business growth by developing new client relationships, expanding existing accounts, and delivering customized solutions within the laboratory, scientific, healthcare, and life sciences markets. This role is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through contract negotiation, closing, and ongoing account management.


The ideal candidate will have experience selling services, solutions, or products into laboratory, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, healthcare, research, or related industries. A strong consultative sales approach, the ability to build long-term customer relationships, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within laboratory, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and scientific organizations.
  • Manage the complete sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, client presentations, proposal development, contract negotiation, and account growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across assigned territories.
  • Promote and sell service contracts, equipment maintenance solutions, and customized kitting and fulfillment services.
  • Develop strategic territory plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, service, and customer support teams to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conduct market research, networking, cold calling, and business development activities to generate new opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, maintain pipeline visibility, and track customer activity within CRM systems.
  • Attend customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events as required.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue, margin, and performance goals.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven history of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience selling into laboratory, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, healthcare, research, clinical, or related industries preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, service contracts, scientific products, kitting solutions, or technical services is highly desirable.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.


Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in enterprise sales, laboratory services, equipment maintenance programs, kitting and fulfillment solutions, clinical trial support services, healthcare supply chain solutions, or scientific product sales are strongly encouraged to apply.
