About the Role

Vintage 99 is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Account Executive to join our growing team.


This is a consultative outside sales role focused on building long-term client relationships and helping wine and spirits brands identify the best label solutions for their products. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where business development and customer experience go hand in hand.


This position is best suited for someone who enjoys prospecting, networking, meeting customers in person, and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through production completion.



What You’ll Do

Consultative Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within the wine and spirits industry
  • Build and maintain relationships with purchasing, marketing, and brand decision-makers
  • Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and facility visits to understand customer needs and recommend tailored label solutions
  • Articulate Vintage 99’s print capabilities, technologies, and value-added services through consultative selling
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through quoting and closing



Account Management & Customer Experience

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Guide customers through the label production process from concept through final delivery
  • Partner closely with customer service, prepress, and production teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain proactive communication regarding timelines, approvals, and production updates
  • Develop long-term partnerships that drive repeat business and customer loyalty



Industry Engagement & Market Presence

  • Stay informed on industry trends, packaging innovations, and competitive offerings
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities as needed
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline management within CRM systems

  • Develop trusted, long-term customer relationships through a consultative and service-focused approach
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue goals
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Represent the Vintage 99 brand with professionalism, responsiveness, and industry expertise


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in pressure sensitive label printing and/or manufacturing sales
  • Previous sales experience within the wine and/or spirits industry required
  • Proven success in consultative sales and account management
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote/field-based environment
  • Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and in-person client visits
  • Valid California Driver’s License required

  • $85,000–$150,000 annual salary DOE

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to spend up to 60% of the workweek prospecting, cold calling, and visiting customers using your own vehicle
  • Occasional weekend availability as needed
