Pay:$30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Your Impact (Responsibilities)

As the Safety Supervisor, you will own the safety lifecycle for our Franklin Park site:

• OSHA & Compliance:Lead all safety operations to ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Data-Driven Safety:Act as the subject matter expert inSafety Analytics, identifying trends and risks before they become incidents.
• Incident Investigation:Lead root-cause analysis for near-misses and accidents, implementing corrective actions immediately.
• Training & Engagement:Develop and deliver engaging safety training that goes beyond "checking a box" to build a true safety-first mindset on the floor.
• Auditing:Conduct regular site inspections and EHS audits of our steel distribution and industrial equipment.

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Experience:1–5 years of experience inSafety, EHS, or Industrial Operations. (Manufacturing or Steel Distribution experience is a major plus).
• Compliance Knowledge:Strong foundational knowledge ofOSHA standardsand industrial safety practices.
• Analytical Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel for tracking safety metrics and identifying departmental trends.
• Communication:Ability to present to groups and build "floor-to-office" relationships. You must be comfortable influencing both shop-floor workers and executive leadership.
• Education:High school diploma/GED required; safety certifications (ASP, CSP, or OSHA 30) are a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
