About the job

Scarlett Gasque is seeking a Store Manager for our new Meatpacking location. The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all staff and operations as well as maintaining the overall presentation of the store at all times. In this supervisory role, the Manager inspires their team by consistently demonstrating the Scarlett Gasque core values, responsibility and teamwork. With the ultimate goal of total customer satisfaction, the Store Manager will demonstrate effective selling techniques, develop a strong client base to build sales, and achieve sales objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a high-performing team that reflects the company's values, drive sales and enhance customer service.
  • Create an environment of growth, accountability, and inclusivity through development, performance management, training, and consistent coaching.
  • Maintain excellent standards and act as a product expert. Ensure your team delivers an exceptional customer experience through high-quality product presentation and store layout.
  • Manage the recruitment, hiring and training process as needed. Staff and oversee store operations. Maintain the store environment to achieve sales, service, organization, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals.
  • Oversee store systems and operations, including inventory management, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and day-to-day operations to drive profitability. You will also maintain store organization, manage product displays, restock shelves, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work with Security Guard to ensure compliance and adherence to loss prevention and safety, standards and practices, and company directive.
  • Drive revenue growth through sales management strategies and set performance expectations to meet individual and store goals. Process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
  • Develop and maintain daily sales reports for Scarlett Gasque corporate team. Work directly with SVP of Sales to achieve store goals and growth.
  • Be flexible and occasionally perform work outside your specific role.


Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of retail experience, including staff supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention.
  • Understanding of how to develop staff with experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, etc.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Able to lift/carry/move/push/pull objects up to 25lbs minimum including fixtures and product
  • Able to walk, sit and stand for periods of time.
