Rylee + Cru, a leading San Diego-based children's apparel brand, is excited to be hiring for our flagship retail store in Carlsbad.

As a Rylee + Cru Sales Associate, you will play a vital role as an extension of our customer service team, bringing upbeat and contagious energy to every interaction. You are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our customers through storytelling and authentic engagement. The Sales Associate is responsible for having in-depth knowledge of our products, specializing in children's fashion, brand knowledge, and personal style.

As a Sales Associate, you will report directly to the Store Manager and complete various tasks, including assisting customers, processing transactions, and restocking inventory. You will also play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, contributing to the overall customer experience, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide best-in-class customer care and elevated service.
• Develop meaningful customer connections and build neighborhood community.
• Ability to accurately process transactions in a professional manner
• Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, organized, and reflects the correct visual image at all times.
• Drive store results through add on selling and conversion that meet the guest’s wants and needs
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising/visual directives.
• Maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization.
• Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Available to work weekends and during the holiday season.
• Retail sales, showroom, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems and Shopify experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience in – and a passion for – children and children’s fashion.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
