Restaurant Shift Manager

HMSHost is now hiring experienced Restaurant Shift Managers for immediate full-time openings at some of JFK Airport’s most recognized dining destinations, including Eataly, Momofuku, and Starbucks. This is an exciting opportunity for hospitality professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are passionate about leading front-line operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Shift Manager roles are available at Eataly, Momofuku, and Starbucks. Each role supports one specific concept - candidates will be placed within a single location, not across multiple brands.

What You’ll Own

• Execute smooth openings, closings, and peak service periods
• Hold team members accountable to service, speed, and quality standards
• Actively coach and develop staff in real time
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
• Manage cash controls, inventory flow, and shift performance metrics
• Resolve guest and team issues quickly, professionally, and confidently

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years in restaurant or food & beverage operations
• 2+ years leading shifts or supervising teams in a high-volume setting
• Proven ability to run a shift independently and make real-time decisions
• Strong presence on the floor—visible, engaged, and hands-on
• Flexible availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Thrives under pressure and raises the bar for team performance
