Role Description The General Manager at Dairy Joy Lewiston-Auburn oversees day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, shift leadership, and hands-on support during busy periods. This on-site role, based in Lewiston, ME, manages food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards, ensuring the location is guest-ready at all times. Qualifications

  • Operational skills in cash handling, basic budgeting, inventory control, ordering, and cost management.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with ownership and staff.
  • High level of reliability, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume, seasonal environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak season schedules, as needed.
  • Previous experience in quick-service or ice cream operations is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in hospitality or business are a plus.
