Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Restaurant Manager role based in Houston, TX. The Restaurant Manager oversees daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service, consistent food quality, and adherence to health and safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising and scheduling team members, leading pre-shift meetings, training staff on service standards, and providing real-time coaching. The role manages guest flow, resolves service issues, and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive, efficient hospitality. The Restaurant Manager also supports hiring and onboarding, monitors inventory and ordering, tracks labor and operating costs, and partners with leadership on local marketing initiatives and performance goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and resolving concerns professionally.
  • Experience with hiring, training, and developing restaurant staff, including performance feedback and team scheduling.
  • Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and effective collaboration with team members and leadership.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including menu execution, food safety standards, and coordination between kitchen and service teams.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in hospitality management are a plus.
