RESTAURANT GENERAL MANAGER

$65,000 – $85,000/year + bonus potential
The GM role at ALife is not a paper-pushing position. You're the person who makes a restaurant work — from the P&L to the guest experience to the culture your team shows up for every day. We're looking for operators who lead from the floor, read the numbers, and build teams that stay.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Full operational leadership: opening, closing, staffing, service standards, and everything between
- Financial performance — manage labor, COGS, and expenses against budget; analyze P&L and act on it
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain management and hourly team members across FOH and BOH
- Maintain a guest-first culture — be visible, solve problems in real time, and build loyalty
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times
- Partner with marketing and ownership on promotions, events, and community engagement
- Drive accountability through performance reviews, coaching, and clear expectations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5+ years as a General Manager or senior operator in full-service restaurants
- Financial literacy — you can read a P&L, manage a budget, and explain variance to ownership
- Proven ability to build and retain high-performing teams
- Proficient in POS systems, R365, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
- ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
