Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and hospitality-driven General Manager to lead operations at a premier restaurant in Miami Beach. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of upscale service, fine dining standards, team leadership, and financial performance. This role requires a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant, high-profile setting known for its international clientele and elevated expectations. This is a full-time, on-site role and the General Manager will oversee daily operations, focusing on customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of service. Responsibilities include P&L management, team leadership, hiring, training, budgeting, creating strategies to drive revenue, and ensuring operational excellence. The role also involves fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests while addressing any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

  • Strong P&L Management skills, including oversight of financial performance and cost control.
  • Proven ability to lead and enhance Customer Service and ensure high levels of Customer Satisfaction.
  • Experience in Budgeting and financial planning within the hospitality or fine dining industry.
  • Expertise in Hiring, training, and developing team members to achieve exceptional service delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or fine dining management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, health, and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Ensure an exceptional and personalized dining experience for every guest.
  • Lead the service team in delivering luxury hospitality standards.
  • Manage VIP and high-profile guest relations with discretion and professionalism.

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations including service flow, scheduling, and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and timing by collaborating with culinary leadership.
  • Maintain the ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation of the venue to reflect luxury standards.

Team Management

  • Recruit, hire, and train top-tier talent for both front and back of house.
  • Foster a team culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and excellence.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and leadership development.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage budgets, labor costs, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor P&L statements and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Drive revenue through upselling, events, and partnerships.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and liquor laws in the state of Florida.
  • Maintain all licenses, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enforce sanitation and cleanliness protocols throughout the venue.

 Brand & Community Engagement

  • Uphold brand image and service standards at all times.
  • Partner with marketing and PR for events, influencer engagement, and promotions.
  • Represent the restaurant in the Miami Beach community and industry circles.

 Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of General Manager experience in a fine-dining or luxury restaurant.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of hospitality, guest service, and Miami's high-end dining scene.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume operations with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in restaurant systems (POS, inventory, labor management).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
