About the Role
Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Director, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders.
- Adhering to department policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current State Respiratory Therapist Licensure CRT or RRT.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- New graduates with Arizona license and or 2 years’ experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to use ABG machine, ventilators, IPPB, EKG, Holter Monitors, Vapotherm, Vest.
- Ability to perform chest PT.
