Position Summary
As a Residential Electrician, you will work directly with homeowners to evaluate electrical systems, identify issues or improvement opportunities, and provide solutions that enhance safety, functionality, and reliability.
This role is ideal for electricians who enjoy customer interaction, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality service while driving strong results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform in-home electrical evaluations and diagnose customer needs
- Complete residential electrical service, repair, and upgrade work
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
- Provide homeowners with clear recommendations and solution options
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and up to code
- Maintain a clean, professional job site and appearance
- Deliver a high level of customer service and build trust with homeowners
- Accurately document work performed and recommendations
Ideal Candidate Background
- Residential service electrician with strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience working directly with homeowners in a service environment
- Ability to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Track record of delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential electrical service and repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (where permitted by law)
Preferred Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (where applicable)
- Experience with panel upgrades, rewiring, and service replacements
- Generator installation or service experience
- Experience in a performance-driven service environment
