Position Overview:

  • Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts weekly
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Highlights of the Position

  • This position will focus on self-management education for patients with Diabetes, including medical, nutritional therapy, and all other Endocrine diagnoses.
  • Possess knowledge and technical skills with devices to manage diabetes, including insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
  • Practice alongside Guthrie's Endocrinology Physicians and APPs to provide high-quality patient care.
  • The prospective provider will have proven success in being a team player and having effective written and oral communication skills.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Unwavering commitment to our mission of improving health through clinical excellence and compassion; every patient, every time
  • Master’s Degree (if credentialed after 2024-required) or a B.S in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, or related sciences with completion from an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics-approved Internship or Coordinated Undergraduate Program.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain Pennsylvania License
  • The successful candidate will also be a Certified Diabetes Educator or able to complete the necessary education and certification.
