Mid-Sized Firm Hiring: Real Estate Finance Associates (NY) | $170K–$230K

A well-regarded mid-sized law firm is seeking two mid-level associates to join its Real Estate Finance practice in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions with institutional clients in a collaborative, deal-driven environment.

🔹 Position 1: Mid-Level Real Estate Finance Associate (Senior)

Compensation: $210,000–$230,000 + discretionary bonus

Billables: 1,800 hours

Experience:

• Representing financial institutions in acquisition, construction, and permanent financing
• Deep experience closing multi-family and commercial real estate loans

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating:
• Loan agreements
• Mortgages
• Guaranties
• Ancillary loan documents
• Reviewing corporate diligence
• Managing deal flow and participating in large multi-party calls
• Handling multiple transactions simultaneously

🔹 Position 2: Mid-Level Real Estate / Finance Associate

Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 + discretionary bonus

Billables: 1,800 hours

Experience:

• Real estate finance transactions
• Exposure to loan closings representing lenders and/or borrowers

Responsibilities:

• Supporting deal teams on:
• Drafting loan documents
• Reviewing diligence
• Assisting with commercial and real estate loan closings

📍 Requirements (Both Roles):

• Admission to the New York Bar
• Strong transactional experience in real estate finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Experience in Not-For-Profit financing or Affordable Housing Finance a plus.
