Quality Control Inspector

Perform variety of quality related tasks to both incoming and outgoing finished products in manufacturing operation. Understand Quality Management Systems including Quality Policy and documentation control and revision.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

·        Provides quality support to the operation of manufacturing facility

·        Inspects incoming and outgoing products

·        Inspect, measure, and document essential information

·        Use quality control check lists to capture required data

·        Record NCR’s and complete CAR’s

·        Assist in facility audits

·        Assist in maintaining equipment calibration and calibration data base

Experience Requirements:

·        High school diploma or GED

·        USA citizen or authorized to be able to work in USA

·        Knowledge of manufacturing and processes preferred

·        Ability to use a computer office equipment, and programs

·        Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with co-workers

·        Ability to read gauges and various measuring equipment 

Skill Requirements:

·        High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization

·        Ability to communicate in a timely manner and maintain a positive, motivated attitude at all times

·        Ability to multi-task and meet pressing deadlines through time management and prioritization of tasks

·        Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

·        Able to read and interpret drawings

·        Experience with hand tools and measuring tools & equipment

·        Experience with Quality Standards

·        Document Control experience

·        Able to review Manufacturing Documentation for accuracy & completeness

·        Has experience with 5S

·        Ability to learn and use different software programs in daily tasks

·        Operate overhead crane and lift truck 

Physical Demands of Work Environment:

·        Employee must be in general good health and able to work in a shop environment

·        Employee must be able to stand on feet working for extended amount of time

·        Employee must be able to work 8-hour shifts

·        Employee must be willing to work extended hours if necessary

·        Employee must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

·        Assist in other areas of manufacturing shop when needed
