About the Role



Coordinate quality assurance, quality control, inspection documentation, discrepancy tracking, and inventory verification activities for the Reno Data Center Solutions site supporting the client's existing Reno facility. This role helps protect asset condition, inventory accuracy, and documentation quality across approximately 300,000 square feet of managed warehouse space. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented QA/QC professional who understands the importance of inspection accuracy, inventory control, and documentation quality in protecting high-value assets. They are comfortable working across receiving, warehouse, staging, and outbound operations while maintaining accurate records and supporting efficient material flow. The successful candidate brings a disciplined approach to inspections, discrepancy resolution, and process compliance. They communicate effectively with operational teams and leadership, proactively identify risks or recurring issues, and help strengthen warehouse performance through consistent execution and continuous improvement.



Responsibilities



  • Inbound Inspection & Condition Verification: Perform and coordinate inbound inspections to verify material condition, packaging, labeling, quantities, serial numbers, and required documentation. Identify visible damage, shortages, or nonconforming conditions before material enters warehouse storage.
  • Inventory Accuracy & Documentation Control: Support accurate inventory records by verifying locations, item identifiers, transaction updates, inspection records, and supporting documentation. Maintain clear records that provide visibility to site leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Discrepancy Tracking & Corrective Follow-Up: Create, maintain, and follow through on discrepancy logs related to damage, shortages, overages, labeling issues, documentation gaps, and transaction errors. Coordinate with warehouse personnel, logistics providers, vendors, carriers, and site leadership to resolve or escalate exceptions.
  • Outbound QA/QC & Release Verification: Verify outbound material readiness before release, including item accuracy, condition, labeling, documentation, staging alignment, and loadout requirements. Help prevent incorrect, incomplete, or improperly documented material from leaving the site.
  • QA/QC Process Discipline & Continuous Improvement: Support inspection standards, photo documentation requirements, preservation checks, audits, and quality controls across warehouse operations. Identify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend practical improvements that strengthen overall site performance.


Qualifications



  • Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in QA/QC, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material management will be considered.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in QA/QC, warehouse inspection, inventory control, material documentation, construction support, or logistics operations. Experience supporting data center, industrial, construction, electrical, mechanical, or high-value equipment environments preferred. Experience performing receiving inspections, condition verification, serial number capture, photo documentation, discrepancy logging, or outbound release verification. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inspection records, shipment documentation, inventory transactions, and corrective action follow-up preferred.


Required Skills



  • Strong attention to detail when verifying equipment condition, quantities, serial numbers, labels, and documentation.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with warehouse personnel, site leadership, vendors, carriers, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct inspections, document findings accurately, and follow established QA/QC procedures.
  • Working knowledge of inventory control, material handling, receiving, storage, staging, and outbound release processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
