Program Coordinator Temp-to-Hire

Onsite – Delaware (Dover) $30 / hour | M-F 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Coordinator to support high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced, mission-driven veteran services program.


This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity for someone passionate about nonprofit/human services work and committed to compliance and operational excellence.


About the Role Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you will play a key operational role focused on quality assurance, documentation compliance, and supporting a team of Case Managers serving approximately 80 veterans daily. You will help ensure smooth program operations from client intake through successful discharge in a regulated, grant-funded environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine case file reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide guidance and coaching to frontline Case Managers on documentation standards and best practices
  • Monitor participant progress from intake through program completion
  • Support data tracking, reporting, and quality control processes
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to support service planning
  • Assist with financial request coordination and internal approvals
  • Identify operational trends, gaps, and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Serve as a reliable administrative and operational resource for program staff

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Nonprofit Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in community-based programs, nonprofits, or program coordination
  • Strong understanding of case management principles and compliance in regulated environments
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with databases, Microsoft Office, and standard office systems
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in grant-funded or veteran services programs is a strong plus
  • Team-oriented self-starter who thrives in a high-volume service setting
