Quality Assurance Inspector
Location: On-site, Pompano Beach, FL
An established and growing aerospace services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join its high-performing quality team. What You Will Do:
- Certify aviation components for shipment in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Perform detailed visual and documentation inspections to verify product conformity and airworthiness
- Issue appropriate certification documentation aligned with aviation regulatory standards
- Act as a quality liaison with internal teams, external suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Evaluate incoming materials from suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications
- Investigate and resolve product quality concerns, including non-conformances and returns
- Support internal quality audits and maintain adherence to aerospace quality standards
- Manage controlled inventory areas related to inspection and quality holds
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, procedures, and industry requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality management system
What You Bring:
- Strong background in quality assurance within aerospace, aviation, or a similarly regulated industry
- Experience working with aviation regulatory standards or equivalent military quality systems
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and compliance documentation
- Certify aviation components using FAA Form 8130-3 to ensure full compliance with regulatory airworthiness standards
- Proficiency with inspection techniques and quality documentation processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality management systems preferred
- Computer proficiency and experience with quality tracking systems
Education and Experience:
- Relevant experience in quality assurance within aviation, aerospace, or defense environments
- Direct exposure to regulatory compliance standards required
- Certifications or qualifications related to inspection or regulatory authorization are highly valued
