About the Role:
We are seeking a driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and play a key role in advancing product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives across our global operations. This position will collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, product development, and quality teams to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve product-related concerns, and strengthen quality systems throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate customer-reported product issues and warranty concerns to determine root causes and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing investigation results, recommendations, and resolutions for both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Partner with product development teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure quality requirements are integrated from concept through commercialization.
- Facilitate quality planning activities, including risk assessments, design reviews, process evaluations, and validation activities.
- Analyze manufacturing and field performance data to identify recurring issues, quality trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with operations and quality teams to implement containment plans and corrective actions when necessary.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and lowering the overall cost of quality.
- Develop, revise, and maintain quality standards, procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
- Participate in the implementation of new quality technologies, systems, and digital tools that enhance operational performance.
- Lead or support cross-functional reviews related to product reliability, customer feedback, and quality performance metrics.
- Contribute to strategic quality projects and initiatives as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Continuous Improvement role.
- Demonstrated success leading root cause investigations and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and industry-standard methodologies.
- Experience with statistical analysis, process control techniques, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with quality analysis software and statistical tools; experience with Minitab is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems preferred.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training strongly preferred.
