QA Tester Mobile & Web User Experience (Intern / Entry Level)Company: MyEmployment, LLCLocation: Remote United StatesEmployment Type: Internship / Entry-LevelAbout MyEmploymentMyEmployment is building a secure platform that allows employees to verify employment and income information for background checks, mortgage underwriting, tenant screening, and other verification requests.The MyEmployment platform includes both a mobile application and web-based platform that allows employees, employers, and verification providers to securely exchange employment information.Our mission is to replace outdated verification processes with a modern, secure, and easy-to-use experience that empowers individuals to control their own employment data. We are seeking a QA Tester focused on user interface and user experience testing to help ensure the reliability and usability of both the MyEmployment mobile application and web platform.ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end testing of user workflows across the MyEmployment mobile app and web platform.Test new features and product releases prior to deployment.Validate key user journeys including:Account creation and onboardingIdentity verification workflowsResponding to employment verification requestsSubmitting employment and income informationEmployer response workflowsDocument upload and verification processesEvaluate the overall user experience and usability of the platform.Identify areas where users may become confused, stuck, or unable to complete a task.Test application functionality across multiple devices, screen sizes, and browsers.Document bugs, UI issues, and unexpected behavior.Work closely with product managers and developers to reproduce and diagnose issues.Participate in regression testing to ensure existing functionality continues working after updates.Provide feedback on user interface improvements and workflow optimization.Test platform behavior under different conditions such as:Different mobile devicesMultiple operating system versionsDifferent browser environmentsSlower internet connectionsSkills and QualificationsStrong attention to detail and ability to carefully evaluate user interfaces.Ability to think like an end user and identify usability problems.Strong written communication skills for documenting bugs and issues.Ability to follow testing procedures and validate workflows.Curiosity about how digital products are designed and improved.Preferred QualificationsExperience using both iOS and Android devices.Familiarity with testing web applications across multiple browsers.Interest in product design, software development, or technology platforms.Experience documenting issues using ticketing or project management tools.What You Will LearnHow modern SaaS products are tested before release.How mobile apps and web platforms evolve through iterative product development.How to evaluate and improve user experience within a real production platform.How engineering and product teams collaborate to release new features.Hands-on experience testing software used across industries including employment verification, background screening, and financial verification.CompensationPaid internship or entry-level role depending on experience.Remote work environment.Opportunity to grow into full-time roles in QA, product development, or engineering as the company expands.
