Role Description

This is a full-time Property Manager position based on-site in Bakersfield, CA. The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily property operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Primary duties include coordinating property maintenance, managing tenant communications and leasing processes, handling budgets and financial reports, and ensuring the properties are in optimal condition. The Property Manager will also manage contracts, oversee vendor relationships, and address tenant concerns promptly and effectively.


Qualifications

  • Property Management skills: Experience with leasing, tenant relations, property inspections, and contract management
  • Administrative and Organizational skills: Proficiency in managing budgets, preparing financial reports, and maintaining detailed records accurately
  • Communication and Customer Service skills: Ability to address tenant needs and concerns effectively, foster positive relationships, and resolve conflicts professionally
  • Technical and Computer skills: Familiarity with property management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of regulations: Understanding local real estate laws and property management regulations
  • Problem-Solving and Leadership skills: Proactive approach to identifying issues, generating solutions, and leading a team
  • Relevant certifications: Property Management Certification (e.g., CPM, ARM) is a plus
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in real estate, business administration, or a related field preferred
