PROPAGATION LEAD TECHNICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION

Mom and Clone Technicians work together with their TEAM to assist with all aspects of operations, under the direct oversite of their Team Leader and Cultivation Manager. This TEAM maintains overall plant health from Moms to Clones and Seedlings to Veg, based on various work instructions, processes, and techniques performed as a part of daily routine operations for producing perpetual plant growth.

As a Mom and Clone Technician, you will:

• Transplant new clones and set up in veg stage
• Create and maintain a schedule for new mom stock to ensure healthy and abundant clones.
• Track and document all nursery watering
• Maintain KPI log for clone and mom success rate
• Follow all cloning procedures as laid out by cultivation manager
• Ensure all cloning events are done on schedule
• All METRC data entry based on needs for cultivation department
• Troubleshoot Pest and Pathogen issues with assistance of cultivation manager
• IPM spray as necessary
• Train and Teach technicians on a daily basis
• Track mom and clone inventory to maintain compliance with the CRA.
• Prep Veg room for irrigation supply hoses, plants, covers, and Metrc tags
• Transfer plants from Mom to Nursery to Veg rooms.
• Perform plant maintenance at various stages of the seedling and veg cycles to ensure successful and bountiful harvests.
• Monitor nursery and mom room environments for temperature, humidity, CO2, and VPD.
• Monitor moms and clones for signs of pests or disease.
• Cull, Metrc tag, and prep plants for transfer between rooms.
• Follows established policies and procedures and contributes to the development of new concepts, policies, and procedures as necessary to perform job duties and tasks.
• Properly use, clean, and deck equipment such as shears, carts, vacuums, etc.
• Perform any other related tasks assigned by management.
• Clean all work areas involved, e.g., sweeping, dusting, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces and common spaces. TEAM members MUST prioritize Cleanliness and Organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by a TEAM Member to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

The TEAM Member must have the ability to lift 50-65 pounds and maneuver between grow room tables. Must be able to work in hot and humid environments under lights. Must be able to work on a two-tier veg bench.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position is full-time hourly. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. (Hours are subject to change), depending on the schedule. Overtime is sometimes required during the week or weekends.

AGE REQUIREMENT

· Must be 21 years of age (State Requirement)

COMPENSATION

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Basic math skills.
