Role: Project Scheduler / Project Controls Analyst
Location: Houston, TX - Onsite
Duration: 6 months +/possibility to convert
Looking for a Project Scheduler / Project Controls Analyst who can build, manage, and analyze project schedules for large capital projects (mainly pipelines/facilities).
What They Will Do:
- Create and manage project schedules in Primavera P6
- Track progress, update schedules (monthly/weekly)
- Identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts
- Work with project teams & contractors to stay on track
Generate reports:
- Critical path
- Lookahead (2–4 weeks)
- Schedule variance
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within plan
Must-Have Skills
- Strong Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- Experience in project scheduling (not just planning)
- Knowledge of WBS, critical path, forecasting
- Experience with capital projects (pipelines, oil & gas, construction, infrastructure)
- Ability to analyze delays and suggest solutions
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in pipeline / midstream / energy projects
- Understanding of project phases: survey, permitting, construction
- Contractor schedule review experience
