We are seeking a Project Scheduler / Planner to support large-scale capital projects within the energy infrastructure sector. This is a high-impact role responsible for owning and developing the integrated master schedule for projects ranging from $50M to $1B+ total installed cost.

This is not a traditional scheduling role—this position requires a hands-on planner who understands construction sequencing, project execution, and risk, and can proactively drive schedule performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all project phases (pre-FEED through construction and in-service)
  • Build and update detailed project and construction schedules using Primavera P6
  • Analyze contractor schedules for:
  • Critical path accuracy
  • Logic sequencing
  • Durations and constraints
  • Lead schedule review meetings and provide reporting to project stakeholders
  • Perform what-if scenario analysis and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support project teams with:
  • Schedule risk analysis
  • Delay analysis
  • Recovery planning
  • Track project progress and support Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align execution plans
  • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for schedule optimization


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in:
  • Oil & gas, pipeline, or heavy industrial construction projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Construction project lifecycle
  • Critical path method (CPM)
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience building schedules from the ground up (not just maintaining)
  • Ability to analyze contractor schedules and provide actionable insights
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred


Preferred Experience

  • Pipeline, compressor station, or gas facility projects
  • Experience working on large capital projects ($100M+)
  • Background with owner/operator or EPC organizations
