Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in industrial piping systems to lead projects from initial planning through execution and closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex piping and mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of industrial piping and mechanical projects, including fabrication, installation, and maintenance
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track and report on progress
- Coordinate with engineering, fabrication teams, field crews, and subcontractors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality standards
- Identify risks and proactively resolve project challenges related to scope, cost, or schedule
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Provide regular updates on project status, financials, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3–8+ years of project management experience in industrial piping, mechanical construction, or related field
- Strong knowledge of piping systems (e.g., process piping, high-purity piping, or mechanical systems)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs
- Experience managing field crews and subcontractors
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, chemical processing, or manufacturing
- Familiarity with stainless steel and sanitary piping systems
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- OSHA certification or strong knowledge of safety standards
