Project Manager – Mission Critical

Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site)


A leading national builder and developer specializing in highly technical construction environments is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of complex, mission critical facilities. This is an opportunity to play a key role in high-visibility data center and critical infrastructure projects that demand precision, speed, and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day execution of mission critical construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive project success from preconstruction through completion
  • Contribute to upfront project planning by preparing estimates, coordinating subcontractor procurement, analyzing bids, and establishing project schedules
  • Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and key milestones
  • Oversee quality assurance and commissioning processes to meet strict operational standards
  • Evaluate construction risks and support contract negotiations and decision-making processes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and project partners
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements
  • Available for travel based on project requirements


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years’ background overseeing commercial construction projects
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
  • Experience with construction management tools such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working on mission critical or data center projects
  • Familiarity with complex MEP systems and commissioning processes
  • Understanding of critical environment protocols, including sequencing and turnover requirements
  • Experience with method of procedure (MOP) documentation and execution
