Location: Hybrid role based in Sherman Oaks, California, with the flexibility of a work-from-anywhere style environment while staying connected to the local office team.
Note: To be considered, candidates must have strong commercial permitting experience, ground-up project permitting experience, and QSR permitting experience. Candidates must also have permanent U.S. work authorization.

Job Description
- Manage commercial permitting and entitlement projects from kickoff through permit issuance
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Provide timely project updates and maintain strong communication throughout each phase
- Build and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Review architectural and engineering plans for permitting readiness and compliance
- Coordinate document review, plan submittals, corrections, and agency follow-up
- Track permit progress, project status, billable time, and portfolio data in internal systems
- Identify out-of-scope items and help develop change orders when needed
- Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule
- Present portfolio updates and project performance to leadership
- Help maintain profitability across assigned projects
Qualifications
- 3+ years of directly relevant commercial permitting or entitlement project management experience
- Strong experience with commercial building permits
- Strong QSR permitting experience
- Strong ground-up project permitting experience
- Experience with land entitlement and grading permits preferred
- Comfortable reviewing construction, architectural, and engineering documents
- Strong client communication, organization, and time management skills
- Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required
- Able to lift plan sets and materials up to 50 pounds
