Job : Project Engineer II
Location: Jackson (Preferred), Grand Rapids, Saginaw, MI - Hybrid
every other week going out to sites to verify status of jobs
Duration: Until May 2027 (High possibility of extension)

work with consultants to send out projects to for them to design with main focus is layout and civil.
team of 2, adding 2
training - Jackson (one on one getting used to systems, any software, getting jobs assigned and familiarized as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Engineer/Manager: managing 5-10 projects at a time (planning portion 2-3 months, design phase 4-6 months, large gap between design completion and construction, construction about 3-4 months) - project lifecycle typically right at under a year (budget sizes $2-$3M)
- adding in some INC and lines as well for designs
- creating scopes of work
- reviewing estimates
- reviewing drawings
Required Qualifications:
- have seen a project fully through - from planning all the way through construction
- Utilities, construction, manufacturing background would be fine
- degree - civil, electrical, mechanical degree
- someone that can manage projects, does not need to be able to influence technical decisions with 3rd party firms
- software - P6, SAP, Microsoft
- minimum of 5 years of experience
