Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to support manufacturing and engineering teams in resolving build and quality issues within an engine assembly environment. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and active participation in New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve production and build issues
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting on engine assemblies and identify root causes
  • Analyze problems, document findings, and escalate when necessary
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) activities
  • Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and design documents
  • Participate in quality checks and delivery audits
  • Initiate and support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, suppliers, and engineering groups
  • Spend significant time on the shop floor supporting assembly operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production support
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and schematics
