Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead and execute capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements within our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering, particularly within consumer goods, personal care, food, or chemical manufacturing sectors. This role involves partnering with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Procurement to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of capital projects and equipment installations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver projects enhancing efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.
• Support process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Manage vendors, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and operational requirements.
• Execute 60% of project tasks, including planning, vendor coordination, and installation.
• Manage 30% of project management tasks, such as tracking, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate 10% of tasks with Quality, R&D, and Procurement teams.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukegan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Waukegan,IL.
