PROJECT COORDINATOR


Job Description:

Work in the Renewable, Solar, and Battery Storage Market. Our growing company is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Project Operations Coordinator to support Company Project Managers and internal accounting operations. This role provides administrative and financial coordination support for large-scale, utility renewable energy construction projects across the United States.

This position supports invoicing, accounts receivable and payable coordination, vendor management, and general operational administration.

Location:

Hybrid or Remote; travel required up to 25%

Pay:

DOE $28-$30 per hour (hourly, non-exempt)

Company Project Managers


Preferred Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or Accounting/Finance
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar administrative, project coordination, or accounting support role
  • Experience supporting remote teams and project-based operations
  • Proven efficiency through prior experience in a remote position

  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads with a positive, solution-based attitude and result-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with P6, Project, QuickBooks, Procore, SAP Fieldglass, or Smartsheet is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and software
  • Prompt follow-through and responsiveness
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support client billing and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation and submission
  • Assist with accounts payable coordination, including review of upcoming obligations and preparation of payments for management approval
  • Review and approve employee time and expense reports in accordance with company policy
  • Code and record credit card and travel expenses, including receipt collection and documentation
  • Assist with vendor setup, tracking, and coordination
  • Support asset tracking, including vehicle mileage
  • Assist with intercompany recharges (e.g., fuel cards, insurance premiums, workers’ compensation)
  • Assist with manual state tax filings when required outside of payroll systems
  • Support operations and project teams with general administrative tasks
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds when required
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods with occasional bending or reaching
  • Ability to traverse construction jobsites on uneven terrain when necessary
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions when visiting jobsites
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required by jobsite or task
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for work-related tasks
